A client in the medical industry approached Tech Tube to draw stainless steel chromatography tubing. We began by collaborating with our expert product engineering and support team to create a prototype of the 316 stainless steel chromatography tubing. Then, through our unique drawing technique, we were able to draw the tube while maintaining the tightest tolerances of +/-.0003″. Our drawing method also allowed us to achieve a surface finish below 12 Ra without any post-processing. The final product was tested, inspected, and then shipped.
